Reiki Class Information for Denver When: Reiki Volunteer Work - Alternate Thursdays - Beginning May 5, 2008. Time: 3:30pm-6:15pm What to Bring:

Who can Volunteer: Anyone that has taken a Reiki workshop with me. Where: VistaCare at 1355 S. Colorado Blvd. Their website is www.vistacare.com Compensation: Tips only at this point. I'm suggesting that recipients tip $5-10 (but this is just a suggestion not a guarantee). I would ask that if you are tipped that you graciously receive the money (this way we won't have recipients saying "well so and so wouldn't even take a tip." Things to Consider: For these sessions I'd focus on doing mostly hands-on work and working on the recipients head and back and any other areas they request. Avoid working directly on the face, breasts or groin. Logistics: You'll be giving about seven 15-17 minute Reiki Sessions. You'll check in at the front desk and ask for KC. A massage table will be set up in a conference room. Paper towels or other disposable face cradle covers will be provided. (Or if you prefer - bring pillow cases or flannel cradle covers). Want to do more extensive volunteer work? Then check out Lifespark. They do require Reiki I and II certification and 50 practice hours before enrolling in their program as a volunteer.

If you need to cancel - please give as much notice as possible so I can
try to fill your spot. If you cancel with 72 hours or more you can email
