I've been teaching meditation for three years now and each time I
instruct a new student I'm so pleased with the experiences they
have and with the results they notice. Just last week, Stephanie
who had been experimenting with several meditation techniques in
the months prior happened onto The Chopra site and decided to take
Primordial Sound Meditation.
After we spent a couple hours on the background, research, and
origins of Primordial Sound Meditation it was time for her actual
personal instruction. After we meditated for several minutes I
asked her to open her eyes and with eyes beaming she said: "wow,
that's amazing. . . and it's so easy." She came back two days
later to finish the class and said "I'm still surprised how fast
and how deeply I go into meditation now. It's so much easier than
the other techniques I learned." She left that day very excited to
see how this new meditation practice would affect her life.
In my talks on meditation I make a point of conveying that if
anyone has tried meditation and found it difficult to not dismay.
It's supposed to be easy, but without a full understanding or
proper instruction the ease gets lost.
I've taught about 75 meditation students to date and many of them
have remarked that meditating with a mantra (as given in
Primordial Sound Meditation) is deeper and faster. Many of
students have remarked that they were surprised at how enjoyable,
easy and refreshing the meditation is for them. Many have said
they've found a new calm and happiness in their lives and some
have seen great changes and shifts take place (somewhat
miraculously).
I'm so grateful to have been lead back to a regular meditation
practice via my association with The Chopra Center. It is
something I'm very passionate about and something I know that is
so beneficial (and actually enjoyable) for people and for that
reason I wanted to share with you some essential meditation
principles.

Of course, if you would like to get more deeply into meditation
or get a regular meditation practice going I'd highly recommend
learning Primordial Sound Meditation. There are many certified
instructors throughout the world, which you can find at
www.Chopra.com. I teach classes in Colorado (and may even be able
to teach in your area). I also offer private, one-on-one and
corporate instruction.
Wishing you the best, Lisa
